“I wanted a quiet place with minimal connectivity to the outside world. I wanted a break from my clinical practice to recharge my batteries. Bunkhouse measured up on all fronts. Didn't even turn on the TV once. Lovely. I would suggest adding an extension cord in the living room that accepts 3 pin plugs. I had to go back to Panguitch to purchase one so that I could work on my computer. Thoroughly recommend this place...quiet, clean, safe, isolated...lovely”

I was surprised at how well laid out the cabin (and especially the full kitchen) was, and Tad has everything you need and was very friendly and courteous. “Stayed here for 2 nights. Hiked during the day and relaxed at night. This was a great little cabin. There were 3 in a row behind a couple of houses. It was perfect, not too busy!! The kitchen was amazingly stocked and the front porch was an amazing place to sit and relax after a long day of hiking. Host was great and checked on us through the visit (via messaging). “The bunkhouse was the perfect slice of staying in a quieter part of southern Utah - the renovation of this historic building was well done, and arriving after dusk to the soft glow of the warmed-up kitchen and bedroom was the perfect end to the day. Bed was comfortable, TV/technology great, functional kitchenette. Lots of nice little touches - it was a great place to stay for exploring Bryce/Grand Staircase and heartily recommend it!
