“The Viking Motel was a fine place to stay in Lindsborg. It was half the cost of the lovely Drom Sott, which is a completely different small, quaint hotel with Swedish breakfast downtown. The Viking was clean, convenient to town, and fairly priced. Don’t expect much for breakfast besides coffee and cold cereal or a cellophaned roll, but that’s not expected anyway. It’d be nice to have a coffee pot in the room like most motels do. We could have used another blanket on the beds, but when we……

“The building shown in the ad was clean and comfortable inside. We drove up to the office. No one was there. We called the number listed from their phone on the outside wall of the building and from my cell phone and got nothing but a recording. We waited about 15 minutes and called Hotels.com asking what our options was. The listing said it was non-refundable. While on the phone, the owner also called. He said to choose a key from the open box hanging on the wall; that was to be our room.……
