“So we stayed one night at the hotel for our anniversary. Just to let you know when it says balcony it’s not private, but you did get a beautiful view of a river and the ocean. Lady at the desk was phenomenal. There was an inside pool and a pool outside in a hot tub. The hotel was obviously an older one, but everything was updated and clean. We had a refrigerator full size and a very clean bathroom. I think my only complaint would be that the pillows were very flat and not fluffy.”

“Towne Lyne is a quaint motel. Very comfortable. My room had an attached small porch which would be lovely in the warmer weather. The grounds in the back are inviting for sitting or children to play while enjoying a lovely stream that flows in the back of the motel.”

“The quaint charm of Maine- the rooms were big and clean- the staff was friendly. It was a few blocks from the beach-easily accessible for food, swimming etc. I liked the place- was priced right and having parking was a plus. My room did not have an in-suite bathroom; apparently this was the only room like that on the property.”

“Fun location in a classic American seaside town, great spot for a couple of Nova Scotians to explore the area and make a daytrip to Boston. Room was a little old and cramped but clean enough and functional, although a microwave would have been good. I wouldn't stay here in peak season though, the town would be jam packed, and the hotel was loud enough in October due to overlooking the pool and kids playing soccer in the parking lot. “I had a king oceanfront room on the third floor. The room was clean and set up nicely. I had a corner room so I had windows on two sides which made for a nice breeze flowing in. The ocean is directly across the street and it’s a short walk to the nearest beaches in either direction. Unlike a hotel, there isn’t anyone at the front desk after 8 pm but I didn’t need that.
