“No big surprises - I felt I got what I paid for, neither more nor less. Positives: -Good breakfast with its own omelette bar -Excellent location close to everything, especially where the buses and taxis are, the beach and the harbor -Good pool (not heated, but clean and good size) -No hazzle in finding an available sunbed Negatives: -Internet did not work in my hotel room except for when I sat on the floor close to the door. -The water pressure in the shower was poor, but this might be a……

“Its a decent resort style hotel in the Oasis chain. Not particularly close to anything, but thats fine when all you want to do is relax by the pool. There is no beach - beach in Praia is blah, better to go to Sal or Boa Vista for quality beaches. Room was correct, nice balcony overlooking the water and view on Fogo volcano, which was neat! AC worked well, wifi was sometimes spotty but ok in general. Good towels. Front desk staff were helpful and responded to a request to fix the sink to drain……

“No one was at the reception.( we did get there at the right time). The place was not meant for 4 people, but for 3. The couch in the living room was very uncomfortable. No window except the one in the bedroom opening to a wall one foot away... very clean though, and quiet. The area is quite a walk from the interesting places, and you just need to hope a taxi will show up. The place next door for breakfast is very nice, though. ”

“Hotelli on siisti, mutta tarvitsisi remonttia. Vastaanoton henkilökunta ystävällistä. Meillä oli studio, joka on riittävän suuri kahdelle. Hyvä parveke ja näkymä uima-altaalle. Erittäin rauhallinen alue. Hotelli sijaitsee noin 2 km Santa Marian kaupungista. Hotellista on ilmainen kuljetus kaupunkiin, mutta vain muutaman kerran päivässä, joten käytimme taksia (5 euroa/suunta). Alueella on myös supermarket, josta saa ruokatarpeita. Alue on erittäin suuri ja käyttöaste ehkä 20%, joten siellä on……
