“It’s all about the location at the top of a mountain overlooking a jewel box of a church. This grand hotel was built in the early 1900’s. It has been renovated but is definitely an older property. Room was comfortable and the view was AMAZING. Breakfast was wonderful. ”

“Hands down the best hostel stay of my life. Carmo at the Reception desk was so lovely and welcoming and helpful. Her English is perfect as is her positive attitude. The room was top notch: featherbeds and the best shower: very hot water and it was strong enough to massage my Pilgrim (backpacking sore) shoulders. “Property is very beautiful and staff very friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast. Unfortunately the bed was severely sagging in the middle which made it very uncomfortable to sleep and the water in the shower was not hot. The very nicely designed property was not maintained as carefully as you might wish - stainless steel hinges and walls were just painted over.”
