“Our hostess, Sophie has been excellent with local places of interest including some local restaurants. Our “villa” was very comfortable and fresh with a queen sized bed. “Lovely place for an overnight stop from the tunnel. Quad family room is perfect as mezzanine space for the teens and lovely grounds to excercise the dog, with bowls and bed provided. Swimming pool open until 10.30pm and lovely and warm - ideal after a long drive. Restaurant looked gorgeous but fully booked, so top tip - book up. We will be back - thank you. ”

“We had a flying visit to this hotel but it was fabulous. It's a beautiful building and the host was very friendly. We had to get up early before breakfast is beautiful served but they made sure the daily bread order arrived early and made us a picnic breakfast to eat in the road, even with warm scrambled eggs! Delicious! And Veurne is beautiful. Well worth a visit. ”

“Relatively speaking the price is a bit high, but in Dunkirk there are not many places for accommodation so it's just fine (I know many young guys come to Dunkirk after the movie, actually the price is ok if two of you share the bed). It's the opposite of train station so very convenient for someone like me who need to catch the very early train with giant suitcases. Else, the equipment is fine and staffs are friendly. ”

“Hotel Recour was without a doubt the best place we stayed the entire time we were in Europe. The staff were beyond helpful and friendly, the prices were very reasonable, breakfast was a wonderful spread and the location cannot be beat. And that's not even mentioning the absolutely beautiful room with a large bath that was very welcome after the trek out to Poperinge!”
