“I would highly recommend this property. It is well located in Ojochal - a coffee shop nearby, not far from the main town (grocery and restaurants), and down the hill from a beautiful waterfall.The only thing I would recommend to the host is that they invest in kitchen equipment. Most of what is there is in pretty bad shape, making it hard to cook basic food.Otherwise, it is a great house, with responsive property management, lovely yard and patio. Would visit again!”

“We had the privilege of admiring an exceptional panoramic view of the mountains, the lush vegetation, and the sea. The house is perfectly positioned to witness breathtaking sunsets. Walter is a friendly and dynamic man. He took good care of us. The garden around the house is meticulously maintained and composed of multiple potted plants and flowers. “My wife and I spent 2 amazing weeks in Costa Rica with this property as our home base. We like being in nature, going on hikes, watch birds and this place was perfect for just hanging out and as a home base for excursions to Corcovado and other area parks. What a fabulous location! In our two weeks we never heard or saw a plane or vapor trail. No traffic by the house. Only a rare sailboat out in the ocean. So peaceful just the two of us. Beautiful birds everywhere. ”

“The property was situated in the beautiful foothills of the mountains surrounding Ojochal and the views of the mountainside were breathtaking. The soothing sounds of the stream behind the property provided a sweet interlude to our enjoyable visits on the patio. The grounds were immaculately manicured, and the home was well appointed and comfortable. The Vita-Mix blender provided us with fresh smoothies every morning. The pool was refreshing and clean and a perfect way to cool off in the warm……

“We thought the house and property were great - we'd absolutely stay again. It was perfect for our family which included my husband, myself and our two year old daughter. Our only complaint is the communication style and responsiveness of the property manager (who isn't the owner). We asked for some cleaning help to be arranged -she said she'd coordinate it and that we would be paying a local rate (and one that was a bit higher than normal, especially for that area, but fine). “The weather was perfect. We were here for 9 weeks. House is quiet, pool is perfect, weather was spectacular. We were visited by humming birds, toucans, parrots, howler monkeys and coati’s.The drive does require a 4x4…. Typical Costa Rican mountain road.Host and concierge were excellent and responded to any inquiries we had. 5* all the way”
