“This sweet spot was the perfect place for my daughter and I to get away and spend time together. Surrounded by pines, it is so peaceful. We enjoyed the warmth of the fire while watching the weather outside. Everything is high quality and cozy. Definitely one of the best places we have ever stayed. ”

“We would highly recommend this location”

“Perfect place to stay for a weekend trip to Schweitzer. The rental is conveniently located less than 30 minutes away from Schweitzer mountain. I only went with a friend but could have comfortable enjoyed our stay with 2 more guests. Cabin is clean, has TVs in every room, remodeled, and kitchen has a nice breakfast bar which we used in the mornings.”

“This cabin is fantastic and Lisa is a wonderful host. I booked the place for Valentine's Day weekend so that my girlfriend and I could ski at Schweitzer. The location of the cabin is perfect -- less than a half hour from the mountain and within a 15-minute walk to downtown. We only skiied and went out for drinks in Sandpoint, but I imagine there is plenty to do in the other seasons of the year as well.I would say that the kitchen is a little understocked as far as kitchen items goes (like no……

“What a fantastic stay in the woods! The property was close to Sandpoint and we went back and forth to town several times a day. Lots of attention to detail, a sense of welcome, hospitality, and warmth enveloped us from the moment we set foot in the door. The perfect cozy cabin getaway for two.”

“It was a perfect cabin for a couple looking to get away! Beautiful views close by!”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Mountain Retreat and loved our time in the beautiful Sandpoint area. We spent the week of skiing with easy access to Schweitzer resort and the town when needed. The home was very comfortable with large beds, a well stocked kitchen and beautiful decor. ”

“Kimm was so incredibly accommodating of our family, we rolled in late and had no service to message her and she came out and helped us right away - we were so grateful. This space is even better than we had thought it would be and it's right in the beautiful forest. “It was a great cabin to stay at! Very cute. The only problem was something was wrong with the oven but the renters responded very quickly and it seems like it’ll be fixed. There was a great view on both floors and plenty of towels and linens and a dvd player for fun. I appreciated the multiple bathrooms and the washer/dryer. Great price too.”

“This place was tucked far enough in the woods where one can appreciate a quiet morning. Place was clean, cozy and comfortable. No internet and very little cell service (w/ Verizon) which makes the stay even better, forcing one to truly disconnect! I enjoyed this place and would most definitely return. ”
