“We had a wonderful stay at the Mountain Retreat and loved our time in the beautiful Sandpoint area. We spent the week of skiing with easy access to Schweitzer resort and the town when needed. The home was very comfortable with large beds, a well stocked kitchen and beautiful decor. ”

“Kimm was so incredibly accommodating of our family, we rolled in late and had no service to message her and she came out and helped us right away - we were so grateful. This space is even better than we had thought it would be and it's right in the beautiful forest. “This is my second time staying at the cabin in the meadow. It is extremely quiet and peaceful and wonderful as a solo traveler. The bed is comfortable, the water is hot, and the coffee supply is seemingly never ending. The drive up to Schweitzer is fairly easy and also provide provides quick access into town.Even with a four-wheel-drive vehicle, the driveway is very steep. If weather conditions are icy, I recommend contacting Kris and Rachel to get a “parking spot“ cleared up top. I slid off the……

“This place is so cute! We just needed a break from the city. What a great little place. Was hoping to see some wild life, but all we saw was chickens, geese, goats, a cat, and a runaway cow down the road.lol So quiet, and the sound of the rain on the roof was so relaxing. Loved the pellet stove, too! Thank you!!”
