“Details: Our trip was 4 adults and one dog. What we liked: Other than sleeping we spent all our time outside and loved that there were multiple outdoor spaces to choose from as the sun changed. The view of the lake was why we picked this place and it was worth every penny; it was hard to leave. The dog: We always appreciate a dog-friendly place, and each deck space had its own gate to keep the dog in. They weren't escape-proof, but enough to discourage wandering. He had a great time.……

“Perfect location in a very walkable town! We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!”

“It was a great relaxing time with the whole family. The home was very clean, with amenities and essential supplies. The "welcome" pastry and quiche tasted "awesome" to everyone!! Fishing was very good, too from the dock. The host was excellent communicator and responsive to my questions prior to our stay. I have already reserved for next year's stay.”

“This was the perfect place for a couple and a dog to stay. The cabin was super clean and nice, the location was top notch too! The Dover bay area had beautiful trails all over for walking the dog (poo bag stations and cans everywhere too) - super dog friendly! Easy walk to the the lake with a swimming area and the Dish restaurant was great too. Overall, this cabin exceeded our expectations in every way - thanks!”

“This home has everything you need. Very clean. Our kids loved the games room and big back yard. Host is quick to respond to any questions. We loved the location and being able to paddle board or kayak from the dock. Highly recommend this property!”

“Great location. We loved the private beach. Our dog had a fabulous time playing in the water. The bay was quiet and excellent for paddle boarding.The house was very comfortable and the kitchen nicely equipped. Highly recommended! ”

“This place I would highly recommend. It is just beautiful, two of my sisters and I were very comfortable here. Tom and Joann are so nice and easy to work with. We especially loved the space out side, where we were able to rest after a day of sightseeing. It is so quiet there, a person could actually rest their mind on that patio. “The place was well stocked with cooking supplies, towels and bedding. The location was amazing, very close to Schweitzer, which we drove to every day and very close to downtown Sandpoint. Hot tub was perfect temperature. Initially worried about the train tracks being across the road but honestly, they weren’t that loud or frequent….Would definitely rent this place again!”

“Communication with property owner was great, check-in/out instructions were sent in advance and process was easy and seamless! Beautiful home, great space for families (just 4 of us, including adult children). Every room was well-stocked, from kitchen essentials to linens, etc. We stayed during our summer trip but the location would be perfect for winter/ski trip as well! We’ve already booked our return visit for next summer!”

Perfect location, even though it’s only 10 minutes away from the soccer field and downtown, it feels like you’re in the forest away from everyone. Appreciated all the attention to detail! “Lovely! Our stay at RMGH exceeded our expectations in every way. We were greeted by our host who gave us a thorough walk-through of the property and left us with a lovely charcuterie welcome spread. The kitchen was fully stocked and filled with everything to cook gourmet meals. We planned to eat dinners in because we brought our two dogs who were treated to toys and a large puppy palace in the yard. The property is very private so having coffee in our spa robes on the porch was a treat. I……

“Really wonderful home for a big group! Everything was updated, clean and thought out. Huge, well stocked kitchen perfect for us since we were eating in every meal and feeding a large group. Cozy living room. Close to grocery store and downtown sandpoint but felt like we were high in the mountains. Only downside was bedding could be upgraded.”
