“Perfect place to stay for a weekend trip to Schweitzer. The rental is conveniently located less than 30 minutes away from Schweitzer mountain. I only went with a friend but could have comfortable enjoyed our stay with 2 more guests. Cabin is clean, has TVs in every room, remodeled, and kitchen has a nice breakfast bar which we used in the mornings.”

“This cabin is fantastic and Lisa is a wonderful host. I booked the place for Valentine's Day weekend so that my girlfriend and I could ski at Schweitzer. The location of the cabin is perfect -- less than a half hour from the mountain and within a 15-minute walk to downtown. We only skiied and went out for drinks in Sandpoint, but I imagine there is plenty to do in the other seasons of the year as well.I would say that the kitchen is a little understocked as far as kitchen items goes (like no……

“We had a great time at The Playhouse with our 2 older daughters. The owners are very nice and made sure we had everything we needed, including bday candles for our daughter. Such a cute, very nice, new and clean little cabin with a beautiful view and wonderful place to hang out and relax by the fire and in the hot tub. We hope to make it back again one day!”

Bonus points: the check out procedures were easier than the last few short term rentals my wife and I stayed at. Communication by the management company and owner was thorough and prompt. The property was well located between Elkins and Hills, so we were able to explore much of the west and south sides of Priest Lake without having to drive far. Definitely recommend staying here!”
