“This place feels really new. It’s everything you see in the pictures and more. Our family of 13 and two small dogs had a great time. The sports shed is full of all the gear you need to enjoy everything on the property. We had a blast playing kickball on the wiffleball field. The full size blackstone is very nice and the kitchen is well stocked. I didn’t see any cocktail mixing materials for the bar but we made do. Washer and dryer worked really well and the 2 extra refrigerator/freezer combo was……

“Ky is the halfway meeting point for our family living in Tn and In. We love the Ky countryside and enjoy the surrounding horse country. What better Christmas meeting place for our family than a 200 year old farm house on a working horse ranch. Our host (Julia) was very accommodating and the listing and pictures were very accurate. This property is somewhere between a VRBO and a B&B. The house was stocked well beyond a normal VRBO and Julia met us with a desert, as well as bacon and eggs to use……

“Had a family reunion scheduled elsewhere and they canceled the night before with no explanation. There were 10 in our party but we were celebrating Thanksgiving with my son and his family who live in Lexington. The house was a blessing for us to find!”

“We just needed to get away and relax for a few days and this was the perfect spot. Far enough away to be relaxing, but close enough to town to be convenient. House was cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. Nice rural area with horses in the pasture behind the house and a barn with pond in the front. The last day of our stay we had some bad winter weather moving in and the host checked in to offer to bring us a generator if we lost power which we thought was nice. Would love to come……

“The location is great, close to downtown. The apartment is above a bar so beware if you need a goodnight sleep because it can get loud with the bar patrons just below you but after 2:00am it gets super quiet as all the drunks have went home for the night. Larry(host) was super responsive and helpful. The apartment was a little Smokey smelling even though no smoking was allowed. Seems the smoke from the bar kinda creeps in, so beware if you have smoke allergies. With all that being said the……
