“Our family stayed over Labor Day weekend and had a wonderful time. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location is peaceful and gave us a true “lake weekend” feel—close enough to enjoy the water and nature but tucked away for quiet evenings.The check-in was very easy. We especially appreciated the large porch for morning coffee, comfortable beds, and the kitchen setup.Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely……

“Had a wonderful vacation at the Lake House. Lots of stuff for the kids. Jet ski rental is close by as well. The kids loved all the snacks, s’mores and gum ball machine. The house has just about everything you could need. We look forward to hopefully returning one day. ”

“We needed a few days to just get away and be quiet and this was perfect. It is only 2 miles out of Onalaska so whatever you need or forgot is handy, but the location still seems secluded. Wi-Fi and Roku TV included and while rustic, the cabin very quiet and the air conditioning kept things cool. Mornings enjoyed sipping coffee on the deck, watching the wildlife and just relaxing. Location within 30 minutes of the state park which was a very nice day trip.”

“Kitchen had every thing you could possibly need for cooking and baking. Was a shortage of spoons, no kitchen dish towels or dish cloths, 1 trash bag was not enough for a 5 day stay. Coffee pot takes awhile but it will make coffee. Fridge very cold, enough to freeze salad mix, be wary of the bottom drawer. Huge pantry, no light maybe bulb burnt out. Some gnats in almost every room, fly swats are in pantry. Big dinning room plenty of seating. Table legs a bit wobbly, dollar general down the street……

“Last minute get away to this very clean and quiet retreat. Communication with host was top notch. Beautiful area. If I'm in the area again, I will be booking another stay!Side note * I would recommend to make sure that if you have other people in your party that are in different vehicles, that you give their names to the host so you dont run into any problems checking in at the gate of the neighborhood. ”
