“We stayed in the cabin to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday. The location was very secluded and pretty. The cabin had plenty of room to house 10 adults. A couple of the beds were pretty uncomfortable but the others seemed like they were a better quality. It was ok for a couple nights but I wouldn’t want to sleep on them an entire week. “My husband and I are OU alumni. We came to Athens to visit my brother-in-law in his senior year. I always loved spending time at Strouds when I was in school and it was so fun to stay at this oasis right off the hiking trails. Wish we would’ve had more time to explore the outdoors, but we were mostly on campus, which was an easy and beautiful drive! We will definitely be back to this home next time we visit.
