“We had a great time hiking the trails and coming home to a clean, quiet, and relaxing atmosphere at the kick back cabin! The cabin is tucked away from every day life and very private. We brought food with us and stayed in during the evenings. It’s the perfect place to unwind, sit outside, and read a book. We brought our dog and the fenced in area was super convenient early in the morning. We just wish we would have stayed longer!! We’re very thankful to nick and Shannon for making our stay such……

“Property was nice. Cabin was nothing fancy decor was lacking. Had everything you need in kitchen. Bedrooms were ok bed in master suite was horrible we informed 1st choice booking they said they would adress it.”

“Just perfect. Even though it rained the majority of our stay we were still able to enjoy the porch, the hot tub, which was heated up upon our arrival, and the cute interior. It has all the comforts of home! I think the only thing missing was some hooks to hang clothes since there’s no closet. Would definitely stay again!”

“The staff at check in/out were extremely friendly. Although it wasn't our first time in the area they provided a great list of local spots to hike and activities. House was in a great location. The living room was cozy and the kitchen had any pot/pan/appliance you could need. The house could have used some updates, the beds were not very comfortable and there were a few things that didn't work(exhaust fan in bathroom, sliding door on bathroom was off tracks, fan above the stove). “The venue was beautiful and both buildings were very comfortable for a family gathering. Access to Hocking Hills State Park was an easy drive, and there was plenty to do at the site itself. The space is very quiet and private, and the property is spacious with trails to explore. Having read reviews about the water at this property, I was concerned, but it wasn't an issue. We brought water to drink, but this wasn't essential. There was a faint smell of sulfur during some showers but nothing……

“Upon arrival we were so blown away by the beauty of the cabin we decided to inquire and book an extra night as 2 nights just would not be enough time. We spent our first night soaking in each other and soaking in the hot tub. Day 2 we visited the sauna pods and booked a professional photography session which lead to a proposal! Then we enjoyed a unique romantic dinner at Glenlaurel (it’s a must try). Our last day was filled with hiking, visiting the Hocking hills winery, deer watching, sitting……
