“Our week stay at the Cornmill was fantastic! It was even better than expected. it's a quiet place in the country but still so close to Dundonald and Comber. Only about 15 to 20 min drive to Belfast. Lindsay was a very responsive and kind host. We can not wait to come back and can not wait to recommend the Cornmill to anyone we know heading to the area. The views are amazing, plenty of room for a family of 4. Everything you need to cook, washer and dryer which was so helpful for a long stay. You……

“This was a beautiful quaint cottage in a lovely quiet secluded area.The cottage was a tiny bit dusty with some cobwebs but of course that's to be expected on farm and country land so nothing that can be done about that!Everything was included and it was great!We really enjoyed going to see the cows and walking around the lane!”

“We really enjoy the long summer nights and beautiful views. The kitchen was excellent. Fully stocked and had more than we needed. The beds were very comfortable, and the place was clean. It was easy to check in to. The only thing I would change would be the check out time. It was a bit of a struggle to get 6 people showered, fed and out the door for 10am. They did offer us to stay a little longer but I didn’t see the message until after we left. The hosts replied to messages quick and were……

“We enjoyed our stay! Discovered we had lots to learn about how things work in the UK, and Raymond was great to respond to every question. We were a 3-generation family group of 7. The stairs were a bit challenging for me (the matriarch, with balance problems), and having 1 bathroom worked for the short stay that we had but might be challenging for a longer stay with this many guests. Hospitality was great! Raymond & Brenda had a welcome sign with all our family names on it; took a picture of it.……

“We stayed from Monday through to Sunday; 2 adults, 12 years old daughter and 2 dogs. We had a thoroughly lovely stay here with quiet surrounds, fresh eggs for breakfast and loads of space for the dogs to run around. We spent a little time initially ensuring the dogs couldn't get out the huge garden because of the sheep and horses that live around you (and who add to the feeling of "being away from it all" ) and they were then free to enjoy their holiday too!
