“It is listed as a new construction but it wasn't even complete. No mirrors in the bathrooms, minimal utensils and dishes, one bed was broken and held up with 2x4's, no coffee pot (listed to have one), ”

“No instructions sent or wifi information provided until I asked. I had it initiate the conversation of how to enter. I arrived at night, it was hard to see the marking on the door. She indicated there was a sign, but the name on the sign didn’t match the VRBO listing. Cleaners could have done better, hair in the shower and syrup on the counter. ”

“The stay was suspect from the start. There was no communication with the host at all until after I had already gotten access to the property by another individual staying at a property adjacent. I was a little skeptical, but the family staying in the large lake house stated that they were able to reach the host and could let me in. I did not have a back up option & with no way to contact the host directly, I really had not choice but to trust it and stay.There was no communication with the host……

“The space was clean, fresh, and beautifully updated. It’s a quiet, secluded, apartment-style setting—great for those seeking a peaceful retreat. It served its purpose while we were in between homes.We had a few hiccups, but the host was helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Just a heads-up: since it’s an apartment-style unit, there are neighbors above you.Overall, a smooth and comfortable stay in a well-maintained space with a responsive host.”

“We had a fabulous few days in your quaint town! The Carriage House was perfect for our group. The only thing that could have been better was the birds not flying into the door every morning as a wake up call but that totally wasn’t the properties fault. We got a good laugh out of it every morning. ”

“I had a great stay. The pros are:- The host is super responsive. Like very quick and I appreciated that- Contactless entry was amazing and easy to navigate- The neighborhood is safe and peaceful minus the fact that there seems to be a lot of other dogs but it was nothing that was bothersome. - I was traveling with my dog and there was no issues with taking him on daily walks- The kitchen was stocked with enough utensils to cook everydayThings to keep in mind: - it is in a more secluded……
