“We were excited to ice fish the famed Chaumont Bay for trophy walleye. Unfortunately the fishing didn't go as planned. The house was great, very clean and comfortable for our group. There was a minor issue with the boiler that the manager solved very quickly. I would definitely stay here again if the fishing was better. If you are headed there to ice fish, you should be aware that access to the water from the cottage is via a set of narrow stairs, and getting a shanty to the back yard is……

“It was a really cool, unique experience to stay on an island in the middle of the lake. Everything was as described and John (the owner) was extremely accommodating and quick to respond to any and all questions. We ended up renting some ATV's from his rental business at a discount.
