“What an absolutely wonderful place!…. The cottage is small and is perfect for a couple or a small family.The views are incredible and the outdoor access is amazing. the owners have a row of Adirondack chairs right along the beach to sit and watch the ships go by ,watch the sunset, and enjoy water activities like swimming, boating, kayaking, and fishing. Downtown Clayton is absolutely picturesque along the water and it’s about a seven minute drive from the cottage. Alexandria Bay is less than……

“Stayed here on a father / son fishing trip to St Lawrence. All we needed was an affordable safe, quiet place to sleep, prepare meals and run some laundry so this met our needs perfectly!”

We appreciated the kayaks that were available for our use and the ability to dock our pontoon boat so conveniently. Keith and his wife are fantastic hosts! “Cute little cabin that had a lot of amenities available. Local grocery is only a few minutes away. Problems: beds are hard, the main „queen“ bed is two twins pushed together but the seam isn‘t connected so we kept falling through the middle and it was too small. ‚Would’ve chosen something else had I known. Fan in living room didn‘t work, someone removed the chain and still couldn‘t get it to turn on. Very hot during the summer. There are a few restaurants nearby within walking, be sure to check……

“Check in went very smoothly with Alice meeting us at the cottage and helping us with where to launch our boat and where to put the trailer. I loved the large yard right on the water and plenty of dock space. The cottage was small but cozy and worked out well with our family. Alice was gteat the whole time. “There’s places for swimming, fishing ,kayaking and a boat launch for small watercraft with trailer. The pond is huge and the surrounding areas are beautiful to kayak, boat or sail on! There is a good size deck to sit on over the water. So quiet and peaceful.Inside there is a large screened in porch great to sit on and take in the water views. Ample room and spaces to gather for games and meals. There is a nice equipped kitchen to prep and cook in. The host is easily accessible and responsive. We……

“We had a wonderful stay at Jane’s house. It had everything we needed and was probably the cleanest house we’ve ever rented. Located in a very quiet neighborhood just outside of Sackets Harbor (which turned out to be a lovely place with great opportunities for walking), it was a great location near Lake Ontario, the St. Lawrence, and the things we wanted to do. Jane was a most gracious and responsive host, again the best we’ve ever had.”
