“The location was really convenient. We could walk to downtown Ballard, plus there were lots of great places within a few blocks. Our room was efficient. It would have been nice to have a chair in the room to read vs the small bench. The communal kitchen on the first floor was a nice addition. We also appreciated having a small kitchen in our room. ”

“I wanted a quiet spot to reconnect with self and nature, and this place not disappoint. The scenery and river view were fantastic for meditation and day dreaming. The cabin was cozy and clean. The stair case up to the bed was a really tight squeeze, so I left most of my belongings downstairs. Bring wood to make a fire. I was fortunate enough somone left a few pieces behind. I look forward to returning again!”

“This was a quick trip. The room is a studio apartment in a new apartment building. Note that NO parking options are provided so street parking is your only option. Fortunately, this apartment is on a fairly safe street.”

When we arrived for a time of solitude and study we found there was no toilet paper in the home, and several lightbulbs were burnt out making it impossible to get enough light in any area for the work we had rented it to accomplish. “The views and sites we had from the home itself were more amazing than the photos. Great clear skies, great views for the sunrise and sunset. We brought our dogs and kids, everyone had a very relaxing time outside in the lake, hot tub and just playing games in the kitchen or lounging inside. “Beautiful private cabin right on the beach. Harbor porpoises, birds, seals all visible from the deck. Sweet classic cabin with everything you need. Would be a small challenge for someone with mobility issues as the trail down is steep but the cabin is worth it.”

“We usually select private lodging and we were a little surprised to find a shared property listing. Accomodations were super clean and our host was always helpful and responded quickly when we had questions. ”
