“We enjoyed our stay at the Mountain Inn! It’s a cozy little hotel with no frills but love that it is dog friendly. Be aware that you must call and request a dog friendly room. We had a little problem with this as we were told by a hotel staff member after making our reservation that we “should have picked the dog friendly room on Expedia” but that was not a choice, and were told we “should have just scheduled directly with the hotel.” However, the manager was able to edit our reservation and we……
“We had an amazing time at Lutsen Sea Villas! The quiet, spotless townhome with gorgeous Lake Superior views was perfect. We loved cozying up by the fireplace and the kids loved chilling in the huge loft. The kitchen was nice for our quick meals. The kids had a super time shredding Lutsen Mountains’ awesome ski slopes nearby!”
“Property doesn’t have an elevator,they don’t provide housekeeping unless requested. Breakfast was dismal, just breads, cereal or oatmeal in a box. Location was good for my visit, the view from my window overlooking the lake was good. ”
“The Cliff Dweller was an affordable stay while we explored the North Shore. I loved being right on the shores of Lake Superior and hearing the waves through the night. It’s a basic motel - nothing fancy - but it was clean and had helpful friendly staff. ”
“Very nice, comfortable stay with a lovely view of Lake Superior and walking distance to everything in Grand Marais. The self check-in directions were very straightforward as was checkout.
