“The location was perfect, the house and porches were amazing and just as described! It was a great “hideaway” from our busy lives for a few days! Eventho it rained and was cool, we really enjoyed watching movies and playing games. The host was very accommodating and accessible, I would highly recommend staying at Hemlock Hideaway in the Blue Ridge Mountains!!”

“This was a great property. Very accommodating for our pups, and a nice quaint spot with the creek. Close enough to town and good hikes, but feels secluded. It is pretty close to the neighbors, but that wasn’t too much of an issue. Clean and cute for a nice weekend away.”

“Birdsong is immaculately kept. The house sits above Fightingtown Creek and the daybed on the screened porch is perfect for letting the sound of the creek lull you to sleep. The master has one of the most comfortable beds ever. The peace and quiet was wonderful. The house is stocked with everything you might need for your stay. I look forward to coming back”

“First day. Cabin was not cleaned when we arrived. Door was unlocked. Kitchen filthy, beds unmade, dirty towels, trash all over. Had to wait 3 hours for someone to come clean cabin. Cleaning crew put wet sheets on bed Second day. Discovered bad leak in game room that was dangerously dripping close to wall electrical outlets. Reported to get repaired. Firewood not covered outside so was too wet to use in fireplace. Oven filthy and smoked excessively when we used it. WiFi terrible. Not the……
