“This was our 2nd stay here, for a week with our mini golden doodle, and we all enjoyed every minute. Quiet neighborhood. Super convenient to the rail trail. We saw a mama bear and baby cub along the trail, as well as a young adult bear on the other bank of the river, several coyotes and Bald Eagles. Loved Beartown Rocks SP, and hikes off the Highland Scenic Hwy. We ventured out to the New River Gorge Bridge, Babcock SP which is beautiful and to Summersville lake. So much beauty and nature. We……

“Great little spot! Perfect getaway! Was very pleased with our stay.”

“We had a good time here, but there are things that could use improvement. There was a snowstorm the day we were set to arrive and we were not sure if we were going to be able to get to the property. I got a text from the owner of the house the day of check in asking if we had a 4WD vehicle as the road goes unplowed usually. Luckily, we had AWD and snow tires so we were okay. I wish we would have had been notified sooner of the lack of phone service, lack of plowing, and also the fact that there……
