“We absolutely loved this place. The cabin itself is very cute and the setting is beautiful and relaxing. There are train tracks nearby and our young son absolutely LOVED watching the trains from the front window. After seeing the back area and the river itself I really wish I had brought my fishing gear. We will most definitely be back!”

“Base Camp Cabin #4 is an immaculate, very comfortable 3 bedroom, 2 bath rental close to Mt. Shasta City. The neighborhood is super quiet, there is a nature walk across the street and it's only about a 5 minute drive to town. The cabin is charming, and well-stocked. We didn't end up cooking there, but the kitchen had pretty much all that you'd need to cook and there is a coffee maker and plenty of coffee (a must for me!). “Overall, the property looks great, although, we didn't utilize any of the amenities since we were only staying one night. Something I wish I'd realized ahead of time is that for these particular cabins, there is only enough hot water for a 5 minute shower. The welcome packet says to limit showers to 10 minutes but in my experience, the hot water lasted about 5 minutes. The bathroom is pretty small, but has everything you'd need. “Beautiful lake location. Loved watching the evening sunset from the deck. Lots of room to spread out. Lovely quiet neighborhood. I don't recommend trying to get down to the water if your senior or carrying a child. Great retreat are so close to boat rentals. Thank you so much!”

“We stayed in the modern cabin. Very nice! Had everything we needed, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom. I would have liked a blanket for the couch. They had sweet lights strung around, nice touch. Liked the community spaces, pool, hammocks, fire pit, plenty of games. Was central locating to lots of hiking, waterfalls, river, caverns. Liked the info book with recommendations for planning.
