The hosts are well organized and reached out on a regular basis making me feel welcome and confident of my stay. In addition, there was a large group at the lodge and I appreciated that their group lead ensured me they would be chill and low-key. (And they were!) “This ski lodge was perfect to enjoy all that Mt Shasta has to offer. We were just a few minutes from the Shasta-Trinity trailhead and equally just as close to town. Our accommodations were perfect, very clean and had everything we needed to have a fabulous time! We cooked several meals including using the gas grills provided. We stayed longer than most guests as each day there were new people beside us. Everyone was so nice and we truly enjoyed our time at Ski Village Lodge.”

“Base Camp Cabin #4 is an immaculate, very comfortable 3 bedroom, 2 bath rental close to Mt. Shasta City. The neighborhood is super quiet, there is a nature walk across the street and it's only about a 5 minute drive to town. The cabin is charming, and well-stocked. We didn't end up cooking there, but the kitchen had pretty much all that you'd need to cook and there is a coffee maker and plenty of coffee (a must for me!). I found the bed to be very comfortable, with soft sheets and nice……
