“We had a great stay at The Fred! The room was on the smaller side, but perfectly comfortable for a couple. The hotel has a fun, vibrant vibe with great amenities. The pool area was really nice, and the view from the terrace was beautiful—especially around sunset. The bar is spacious and conveniently located right by the pool, which made it easy to relax with a drink in hand. “Every single person on the staff was helpful and welcoming. This recently-renovated property is right on the ocean. Even though we visited past peak season (so it wasn't busy) we were treated so well by the staff. Food and drinks were top-notch. “We just got back from staying in the Sunset Suite at VH with our family of 4. We loved the quirkiness of the house, built in the late 18th century so it has wonky floors, but it gives it character. The 2 bedrooms are the only rooms with A/C so be prepared for the living room, kitchen and bathroom to be a lil toasty. We did ask for an extra box fan, which they kindly provided. “The resort is very nice it’s just far from everything. You have to take a taxi if you don’t rent a car to drive around. Everything is about 20-30 minutes away from the resort. I love the fact that the pool was 24/7 and beach access as well. I wish that there were more restaurants on the resort or at least close by. I only had one issue and that was with housekeeping I had to keep going to ask for them to come and service the room I left my room for the whole day and came back and the room had……
