“Beautiful hotel with views overlooking the ocean. We loved the location, but it was on the north part of the island and required a car. The room was beautiful and we enjoyed coffee on our gigantic patio every morning. It was quiet too, didn’t even know other guests were there. Highly recommend, and we will be back!”

“When I first read reviews of Tamarind, the reviews were mixed. I decided to take a chance and we couldn’t have been happier. The room was spacious and clean. The location of our room was fantastic, I walked out with my coffee every morning and was greeted by the ocean. The pool was right there and my daughter loved that. The pool was large, overlooking the ocean and well maintained. The location was great. The staff were beyond wonderful. They were so friendly, welcoming and were eager to help……

“The stay started a lil rough but the leadership staff particularly the general manager, Al, saved the stay. He went above and beyond to make our stay memorable for the right reasons. “It’s a quiet, beautiful location. We basically had the place to ourselves until the wine tasting night. It’s close to Point Udall, which is a great place to watch the sunrise. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. There were only two downsides. One, I booked a room for a family of five, so I assumed there would be a sofa/bed or just a sofa. I had to pay an additional $60 a night plus tax for a rollaway. Second, you really can’t go out into the water here. The beach goes straight to a dead……

“We stayed in coral room which is in a courtyard very safe with digital locks for room and courtyard at night! Turquoise blue shallow water right across the street for snorkeling/swimming. On site restaurant and bar was great and other dining options in any direction walkable. Plenty of local history and the people you meet are super friendly!”

“I loved everything about the place , staff was excellent. Casino across the street was nice. The only thing i wasn't happy about was the Tuscany restaurant wasn't open every day, so dinner buffet wasn't that great, especially the money we paid to stay thete. Stoll we enjoyed ourselves. happy ”
