“One of the most amazing independent hotels I’ve stayed! Staff are so hospitable and helpful. Location is next to Cava Grado beach and 10 mins to Sant Angello. Rooms are basic but very cute with balcony. Also very convenient to have breakfast served on the terrace each morning. Hotel owner and staff were so helpful with recommendations! I will come back again for sure — they helped to make my Ischia vacation incredible! Missing the island (and Rio the dog!) already”

“Very nice hotel, primarily for adults. A lot of rules around the pool. We were at the hotel with 3 active kids and they were not allowed to run, play ball, jump into the pool or to use the spa. But it is a very nice/quiet hotel… ”

“Nice stay. We went out of season so island and hotel very quiet. Lovely service from B&B owner. Booked a family room with breakfast but ended up with two rooms...not an issue for us. No breakfast being served either, again not an issue as bakery just up the road. It was our of season so I think these were more of a miscommunication with hotels.com. Great location for Barano beach, easy to reach using no 5 bus from main bus station from ischia port.”

“Excellent stay at the Miramare and the staff were very wonderful and very helpful. Great location at the inner harbour. My only 2 comments would be better instructions on where to park and get up the hotel via the golf carts would be helpful and the concrete swim platform below the hotel could Be kept cleaner. Otherwise, a nice place. ”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. All the staff were lovely and helpful. A special mention for Nicole, grandson of the owner, for his kindness and good humour. Breakfast was very good, and the thermal pools were gorgeous. Dining a la carte was a challenge for one of us but only because food containing octopus was not for that palette. Lunch is located separately from the evening dining rooms with a delightful view out to sea and good choices on the menu. The set evening menu tended to be……

“Wonderful hotel and spa, would recommend, not too far from the harbour town easily walkable with a free shuttle bus if you want it. On site restaurant is average, better food in the town with lots to choose from. Rooms were spacious and well maintained. ”

“Amazing! Staff was kind and very helpful, the e accommodation is amazingly beautiful. Breakfast is top notch, one of the best I’ve ever had in any hotel. And to top it off we decided to end our vacation on the Amalfi coast right here, because it was just to good!”

“Hotel and beach are very relaxing and the staff is very nice. To get around its either up and down very big hills or you have to call down for a golf cart to go into town. We thought it was a little more walkable than it is. If you are looking for a quiet getaway- this place would be perfect. ”

The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was very good with multiple choices of both hot and cold foods and drinks, the room was comfortable and clean with air-conditioning. They provided lifts to and from restaurants and the beach. Would recommend for solo, friends or couples!”
