“We were not aware that this house is located amidst an outdoor wedding venue that includes a pond with fountain, a gazebo, a deck on the edge of the pond, and a huge yard. It is in the country but close to the places we wanted to visit - Terre Haute, West Lafayette, Center Point, the nearby covered bridges and Turkey Run State Park. It is idyllic and peaceful. “The staff was friendly and helpful. The bedroom was clean and the bed was comfortable (not hard) and I liked the use of four down alternative pillows. The bathroom was very small, but clean and functional. I could tell the room had been updated, but their was still a slight damp odor from the older air conditioning system. “The desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room needed some more cleaning of kitchenette sink and bathroom counter. Heating unit not able to keep up. Very drafty door. Needed to stick towels in the door frame. Front desk brought us a heater. Bed was very comfy!”
