“…. Well, not exactly in “woods” but a very private setting , and for this “nature lover” traveler it was a great find. The private waterfall was amazing and I could hear it with windows opened and to see the Lake from my perch out the bedroom door was awesome also. It is cabin-like and not modernized - almost like it is stuck in time - but it was a warm and cozy place to come back to after day time site seeing - visiting Cornell, Ithaca, tons of parks and waterfalls - lots to do and see in……

“The yurt was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed the wood burning stove almost every night, played lots of puzzles and games, and enjoyed sightseeing in the area. We would have enjoyed getting to know the sheep and chickens a little (we were visited regularly by two handsome black kitties), but alas we couldn't find a time. Next time!”

“My son and I visited Ithaca to spend Christmas with family. We were out most of the day, but the apartment was wonderful to return to at night. It was cozy, warm and private and the beds were really comfortable. Very much as advertised. I would definitely return when visiting Ithaca.”

“Stay was good, well maintained. Living room area needs to be reconfigured to accommodate a group, with better furniture. only one small Couch and not comfortable at all. ”

“Location was ideal, size was good. I liked the setup of the front door lock and had it been warmer weather, would have loved to use the front porch swing. Definitely older overall but we weren’t looking for luxury and I think it was appropriately priced. Felt like someone lived there when it’s not being rented, which I understand but some personal items (specifically bathroom) could have been stored away. Overall we would stay there again. ”

“The view over the lake was spectacular for sunsets and especially full moon! The place was spotless and had everything we needed, with very comfortable furniture. Could use a small step stool to get into and out of the bed, and maybe a small half door across the stairs for safety, especially at night. ”
