“My husband and I came up for a quick visit to see my in-laws. I wish we could have spent more time at this cabin. It was adorable, it had all the necessary amenities. I loved the wood stove; it kept the cabin warm on chilly evenings. Staying right on the Wisconsin river was a bonus. I enjoyed sipping coffee on the porch and listening to the wind chimes. I saw from the guest book that many people who stay have returned multiple times since their first visit and I plan to come back, too! ……

“Cozy cottage with enough room to sleep at least 10 people. Full kitchen to make all meals. Very clean and super cute. We had a relaxing couple of days over Thanksgiving weekend. It was cold but we hiked Wildcat Mountain, the Ice Cave Trail as well as many spots in the Kickapoo reserve. Beautiful Amish country with cool antique shops around. We visited Wildthings Furs right around the corner and bought affordable furs. We also found some treasures at the Amish Walmart. The reception is……

“We went to the Christmas Mountain Village for a white Christmas. We rented a cabin that was clean and nice. The amenities at village were nice (restaurant, skiing, tubing). The village is a short distance outside of town, so we were able to enjoy the town. This was a great little get away and yes, we did get our white Christmas.”

“Everything is as described on the website, when we arrived the check in process was extremely easy and we were giving many things from the check in to assist with the local area on are vacation. The location was extremely clean on the inside with everything necessary to help assist with a beautiful week away from home. The location was also spectacular with many areas to swim on site with out having to go into town and buy tickets for parks if your not feeling it that day but other than that……

“This was our second booking of this cabin and once again, it didn't disappoint. Only half of our group was able to go unfortunately - I had a setback after surgery and and my husband and I had to stay home. Such a disappointment as it was a glorious fall weekend! However, the rest of the family had a wonderful time and the 7 year old thinks it should become an annual event! I agree and hopefully we will all make it next time! ”

“When we checked in at 4pm our room was not ready, we got a text 6pm that it was ready they gave us a 75 credit to use on property. We used it a Mulligans restaurant, mostly bar food. They only had 2 cooks so sevice was slow, soup was great and the fried shrimp was light and crispy, server worked her butt off! Cabin was as expected, very conpact for 6 adults. Only issue was how dark it was, no street lights. Planning on coming back in the summer. ”

“We enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately we were not able to get the Cabin we originally reserved, but the cottage worked out fine and we were still able to get the twin bed arrangement in the second bedroom. We enjoyed the resort and amenities. The kids love the indoor waterslide! The resort offered the privacy a hotel can’t achieve and we were able to make most of our meals.”

“My sister and I just had a girl’s weekend at this cozy cabin! It is much more spacious than what I thought it would be! The view was breathtaking (we used the binoculars in the kitchen many times to look at birds), the stars at night were spectacular, and the decor felt like home. We enjoyed a campfire one afternoon after exploring the nearby Pier County Park. We are already talking about a return visit! Thank you for sharing your lovely cabin with us!”

“This is our third stay at Phyllis's little slice of heaven. I will not reinvent the wheel by repeating words from our former visit reviews, but I will say that for anyone who loves staying in a well furnished (historical) home with super comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen -- while still being able to bring your four legged friend and still get away from it all -- this is your place.It is certainly our ShangriLa, and we love that Phyllis provides access to such a wonderful dog-friendly home……
