“First of all, I have to acknowledge the assistance of the owner who, when she learned of the dicey situation we found ourselves in, really worked to make the house available to us for three weeks on very short notice. The house was cleaned well and could easily have accommodated our entire family of eleven, although we never had more than seven people in the house at the same time. The house has great bones, with plenty of spaces where family could either gather together, or anyone could steal……

“Everything was great except we didn’t realize there are so many levels. Several steps down to den from kitchen area and to the courtyard outside. We knew the bedroom was upstairs but with bad knees the extras steps in living areas made it difficult for me. Only other problem was there was no coffee there for the regular drip coffee maker. Otherwise, everything was very clean and it’s a quiet neighborhood close to our concert venue, downtown and Five Points.”

“We really enjoyed our week at the Charleston House! The home was so pleasant with space for everyone to spread out and have some alone time, as well as great spaces to gather. The kitchen was lovely! We appreciated that so many things were within walking distance and the property manager was really easy to work with and communicate. Would definitely stay again! Note that if you have multiple cars, there is off street parking for 3 vehicles and everything else is permit parking due to the……

“Pictures don’t do it justice. Very cute and clean. Beds were comfortable and plenty of towels etc. Plenty of living space as well. Communication with host was excellent. Maggie is very responsive and friendly. Close enough to campus and Five Points. Not walkable but a very short car ride. I would stay here again. ”
