“I needed a quiet getaway to catch up on work and this was perfect for that. ”

“Very roomy, spacious interior and exterior! Perfect for a large family with kids. There were lots of bees and some stink bugs and moths. Sent several questions to host that never got a response. Kitchen was large and well stocked. Common areas were large with plenty of seating for everyone. Porches were awesome to enjoy the outdoors. Beds were comfy. Overall, we were very pleased.”

“The property was clean and comfortable. The gas fireplace made the environment cozy.However, the mattress is very hard, the legs on the chairs around the dining room table are loose, the front door was not locked when we arrived. We would stay again”

“Was perfect spot to rest for the weekend while we explored the national park and city nearby! The treehouse was so cute and cozy! The signal was a little spotty, but would sometimes connect to the nearest larger rental. We walked the property, and due to the season, there seemed to be a lot of landscaping work going on - bet it’s fantastic in the summertime! There were some local coffee shops and restaurants that were nice, but depending on which direction you go, some of the nearby cities are……

“Lovely horse farm and peaceful! I was disappointed in the Mountain View as advertised. The stunning mountain view was from the owners house. Overall it was very enjoyable.”

“We came to this property after a week in DC and a few days on the Eastern Shore. Place was amazing and restful. We picked this place since it was close to President Monroe’s house; MountPelier (sp) - Dolley and James Madison’s plantation. We wander the countryside so beautiful. “The property is located in a very beautiful and secluded part of Virginia. All cabins are nestled within the trees and our unit had a lovely tree shaded deck. We were able to eat breakfast and dinner outside in complete comfort thanks to the trees (this also made it very private). The cabin was nicely designed and the kitchen was clean and very functional. This is a wonderful place for a getaway. The pools were very clean and well maintained. Check in was fast and easy. The concierge……

“Absolutely stunning house. The view is by far the best, but it has outside amenities to make it that much better. Only a short drive to Skyline Drive. Definitely worth every penny, and will definitely be coming back. Thank you to the host!”
