“Our stay was unbelievable, our 3 yr. Old grandson was overwhelmed with the painted rock hunt on the property. Total relaxation. We will definitely be staying again!”

“What an amazing place! The kids loved it and we all had a great time around the fire. FYI, if it's warm outside, talk around the fire from the chairs, but if it's cool outside, the giant fire pit is actually a warm seat and a small fire will be all you need.The creek was a bit low in late August, but still beautiful, and the surrounding grounds were spacious to be sure. The pond is very nice, and though we didn't catch any fish, a very large one did bend the rod almost in half. The location……

“If I could give 10 stars I would. Opting to stay at VRBO properties as opposed to hotels I have a lot of experience and I can say this is one of the best. The cabin is extremely well stocked with everything you need. It was clean, spacious and meticulously maintained. My only regret is that we didnt get more time there. We had a wedding in Bellefonte and therefore didnt get to explore as much as we would have liked. But even in the short time we were there we took advantage of all this amazing……

“This cabin is awesome for a couple or 3 ppl! Clean, perfectly decorated, comfortable, across from Pine Creek and down the road from the Ole Covered Wagon tour and east and west rims of the Grand Canyon of Pa. We took macadam roads and dirt roads while in our search for new places and of course “big foot!!!” Relaxing and fun. Host,Shelly very responsive and pleasant, making booking check in and out a breeze! Thanks Shelly! Looking forward to booking next year again! ”

“I really loved the place and will book again for a longer period of time. We come to the Wellsboro area twice per year (my happy place) just to relax, eat, and do a "thing or two", and this was the first time staying out of town. We loved it!!!”

Communication with the host was pleasant and they sent all details well in advance of our check in so that we could be prepared. “I would like to give this property as many stars as we was able to see …. A MILLION STARS!!!! Everything was perfect. You can tell our host has pride in his property and wants his guest to thoroughly enjoy their stay! Perfect location for stargazing! Loved the Lumber museum right across the street and my adult kids were able to rent an ATV just steps away from the cabin! A million stars!!!!”

“This was an awesome place to stay. House had everything you needed. The fire pit was awesome with all the wood. Had many grills which made things so convenient. Will definitely stay here again. Loved the large yard with all the games.”

“This cabin was perfect and had all the amenities one could ask. The state park is just up the road and it does get dark at night at the cabin. We were fortunate enough to have a clear night with an amazing view of the milky way. Great place for those who want to stargaze and don't want to bother figuring out camping at Cherry Springs. The nearby town is quaint and you can find just about everything at the local supermarket. We will definitely be back! ”
