“We absolutely loved our stay at the Thornwald Mansion. It is nicely secluded in a park yet you are within walking distance to Dickinson College and a shopping center. The property has outstanding amenities and the food selections at breakfast were delicious. The service exceeded our expectations. The room and the bed were comfortable and very quiet. This mansion went under fire and then was rebuilt by the current owner from the ground up paying attention to detail and preserving its history. The……

“The hotel was very clean and the room was spacious. The man who checked us in was very welcoming, kind and helpful. The hotel was quiet, and in a convenient area. The only negative part of our whole stay was the woman who checked us out. She was very rude, snippy, and rolled her eyes at us as we approached the desk to hand in our key cards. She certainly doesn’t need a job in hospitality. Thankfully, everything else was incredible so we would happily stay at this hotel again.”
