“This place is closed and has been for over 2 years as you Expedia know about but you still take bookings. And take money for this place. This is real 👎 of you expedia and need to wake ⏰ up”

“I choose this Hotel because of the gym pictures on the hotels.com site. THERE IS NO GYM! And they were just sorry, we forgot to take the disinformation from the site. They haven’t had the gym since this January. Hotel didn’t offer me any refund or other option (another gym)”

“Driftwood is a really chilled hotel right on the beach. We had a lovely couple of nights to end our Kenyan trip. Take this place for what it is and you'll have a great time. The staff are so friendly and the food is really nice. Enjoyed it”

“Do not book this hotel! This is a scam hotel. It doesn’t exist. I booked it and on arrival at night time in Malindi spent over an hour in a taxi looking for it. It is not at the location on google maps and the telephone number is out of service. Even hotels.com could not contact the hotel. I even returned in the morning in daylight to see if I could find the place and no nothing there! The whole experience was distressing and now I am faced with getting a refund which I am assured by hotels com……

“Stay away from this hotel..Stayed for 2 dayz..Empty hotel, less variation in breakfast offer. Less welcoming staff, specially at the restaurant. Live Cockroaches on the food as we had a breakfast. Outdated and broken coffee kettle, Electricity went so water anf we were not able to shower.. Horrible experience. We went to breakfast and being told "no coffee due to lack of electricity power. the pool was good.. but the management is tired and see no future in this business, we think.”

“This property is nice, but the pool was small pool and the sun chairs had no umbrellas. It was shaded however you had to move your chair often due to the sun/shade depending on time of day. But overall, it was a good experience. Rooms were nice and clean but noisy hallways.”
