“Our family had to travel to San Diego for a funeral. We decided to try Vrbo because we didn’t want a hotel where we were on top of each other. We also wanted to be on the beach because her ashes were spread out at sea and it would a last moment of connection. “Great location on the bay with balcony to enjoy sunrise. Only 2 blocks from the pacific boardwalk. Comfortable accommodations for sleeping.( A few small details could have improved the experience. Kitchen disposal jammed, shower leaked on floor a bit, bathroom sink fills up and doesn’t drain properly, toilet paper roll slides off holder onto floor.) As parking is not included it is suggested to street park on Mission Blvd. The paid public parking lot is exorbitantly expensive- However! We found……

“The house had amazing space - you can open up the curtains and enjoy the beach without the unending people walking by. Nice outdoor area for parties and eating. Just steps from the volleyball nets and the ocean. Clean and lovely. Thanks for a beautiful, relaxing time.”

“The location is great! You are right on the beach. The place is well equipped and clean. The third bedroom has a very difficult bunk bed. It is high and awkward to get in. Okay for kids but not adults”

We enjoyed going for a walk/run; and truly appreciated all the local shops and restaurants. My only complaint was struggling with the sliding door. I don’t think I would have been able to get it open without help from my husband. Other than that, we would love to return sometime in the future. ”
