“We stayed at Our Valley View Bed & Breakfast for two nights over the Civic holiday long weekend and it was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and relaxed. The room was spotless, with a comfortable queen bed and rustic decor. Everything felt thoughtfully arranged. The homemade breakfasts were a highlight — freshly baked muffins, fruit from the garden, delicious farm fresh eggs, fresh brewed coffee, toast and raw honey from their own bee hives and local apple……

“The Emilyville Inn is a gorgeous old home. The wide plank pine floors and antique furniture were impressive. Kimberly, our hostess, was very welcoming and friendly upon arrival. She showed us around before taking us to our room, which was just lovely. We had a great night's sleep and a wonderful "full" breakfast the next morning. I highly recommend a stay here. “Everything was very organized and well kept, instructions and rules were very clear and helped to ensure everyone was comfortable. My only thing worth mentioning would be that no towels were provided unless asked, and if the host wasn’t home you’re kind of stuck (which wasn’t stated anywhere in the guidelines). Overall a great, organized and affordable place to stay, will definitely be staying here again!”

“staff were very friendly and super helpful in suggestions for activities to do in area…They suggested Port carling Museum which we enjoyed and the muskoka farm and winery…Took their wagon tour of cranberry marsh ..We also enjoyed their property and view of the water..Very peaceful.The king bed was very comfortable Fall colours in the area was gorgeous..”

“Lynn is an expert host and all rooms were clean and comfy. With delicious breakfast if you have time to sit down and continental amenities if not The reviews are accurate and you will enjoy your stayHaving said that, there was a smell of smoke in the home when you enter. It was never mentioned in recent reviews and the host said that smoking was allowed in the upstairs balcony and a recent guest had been a regular frequent smoker out there. I told the host that I would not mention the smoke……

“I hesitated to write a review b/c there are a number of criticisms but then I noticed that this host doesn’t have any reviews yet so maybe these can be constructive. Our host was very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed: very good, cold fridge;very good shower with hand held option; shelves plus hooks in the washroom, so there was someplace to put our toiletries, drinking water & two glasses on one side of the bed.No coffee maker or kettle; no means by which to wash the dishes that were provided……
