“The property owner is rude and unprofessional. I asked for late checkout she agreed to 12:30, then called me at 11:10 saying I should have been out an hour before which would have been 10:10, but published checkout was 10:30. Additionally the property was going through renovations and by the owners own admission they were not finished and she didn’t notify us until the day before travel that bathroom grout in the shower was incomplete, the floor to the cottage was unfinished, several mirrors and……

“Spent a few days here for family Christmas nearby. We've stayed here several times before and it almost feels like coming home. Love the area, the beauty of the lake and the quiet neighborhood. Our adult kids also love coming here-we can spend time together and with nearby family. Susan & Ron are excellent hosts with everything you need provided. Cabin is always clean and welcoming. Great communication. Thanks for another great stay. We will be back!”

“Overall it was great. Although it says 3 bedrooms there is 3 bedrooms but one room doesn’t have an actual bed. It has a fold in half couch. So there is only 2 real beds in the house. That was really my only complaint. ”

“This is a lovely cottage on the Ohio river. We stayed for two weeks and truely enjoyed it. This cottage has the older home charm with modern amenities. We look forward to coming back for future stays. ”

“Pictures did not do Justice to this beautiful Lakehouse. It is very roomy. Two living areas (one upstairs & one downstairs) both with Fireplace and large TV with plenty of seating. It lists 2 1/2 baths, however there is a jet tub in a separate room. So you have a steam shower in one full bath, the jet tub, a full bath with a tub/shower, and a 1/2bath. Two gorgeous large decks, one off the upstairs and one off the lower floor. Loved it and Janet the host was So patient and helpful, as I ask a lot……

“Property is short driving distance to Churchill Downs and SDF. Plenty of shops and stores nearby. Home is good with ample parking. Bedrooms and bedroom closets are a little small (not a lot of room for big or extra suitcases). Accommodates 3 easily, the 4th person is a bit tight. Host is friendly and responsive.”

“didn’t get to utilize the pool because of rain but the house was huge and had great hangout spots, the beds were nice and we had a great time here, host was easy to communicate with even after i had to get back in contact with them way after our stay about an item we had misplaced”
