“The property was very clean. There was a lot of space to spread out in. The beds were very, very comfortable. Bathrooms were totally updated. Enjoyed the fireplace in the dining room area. Furnished in a fun, quirky way. Location was very convenient for visiting the wineries & casinos. Only negative was the house was cold. It took quite alot of time for it to warm up on our first day & it never really got warm enough. Understand because the house is so large & older. The dining room……

“Let's start with the good. Convenient location for our son's wedding at Evergreen Farms, lots of space and parking, modern kitchen, working internet and modern TVs (that even allowed streaming from our phones). Easy interactions with both the manager and the owner. Now the not-so-good. First, the owner was supposed to meet us at check-in, but never showed up. We were given the lockbox code so we were able to get in without a problem, but no tour. The odd decor hits you immediately upon entry.……

“The home is on the water with a boat dock and fishing platform. The home has large windows so you can take in the view of the lake from the living room and kitchen area. We had a relaxing and fun time!”

He greeted us and took us to meet his sweet goats and sheep! The steampunk house was unique with surprises everywhere. Very happy with our stay!sweet”

“Visiting from NC for family wedding. This was the perfect spot for us, on tranquil, beautiful Wincheck Pond. The pine paneled 2-story house is well appointed, clean and comfortable. Yes, it has its own sandy beach, with propane fire pit, 2 canoes, 2 kayaks, and paddleboards. The owner was kindly attentive in assuring we had all we needed. Henry David Thoreau would've appreciated the quiet, natural setting, with wildlife and foliage galore. Two amazing hiking trails were only 1/2 mile away. ……

“We were here for our son’s wedding. The house was perfect for our stay. The rooms are big and comfortable. The house is very spacious. It was the perfect space for all the groomsman to get ready at. Everything was as listed on VRBO. Host was quick to respond. ”

“Sleeping accommodations, towels, linens, and kitchen were fine for our needs. Some minor improvements could be made: Better directions on how to open door-there is a push system that the host had to describe to me to open door. Can't imagine trying to open in the dark with just instructions that came with house. Also, could use more kitchen towels and some scissors. Tub jacuzzi tough to get in and out of. You need a pin for TV to download favorite apps-none was provided. Neighborhood was easy……
