“We stayed 2 nights. The first night was on a 1st floor room by a busy street. However, the manager was very responsive to our request to change rooms. Our second night was delightful. Be away no air conditioning, but this time of year (early June) was very comfortable. Breakfast was good. ”

“Superb period property retaining a lot of original features, exceptionally clean and well maintained. Freindly staff, on site restaurant serving incredible food. Parking off site but secure, 5 minutes walk to the centre of the town where there are numerous places to dine. An excellent location and place to stay.”

“Great location. All city shops, restaurants and historical sites easily within walking distance. The pool and sunbeds were particularly welcome in the late afternoons on the hot days we stayed there. Fan provided in the room was a bonus (temperatures were exceptionally high).”
