“Beautiful setting, friendly staff. Room was spacious, bed comfortable with a nice solid mattress. Large shower. Everything spotless. The only small negative was that the only two point plugs in the room were where the bed lamps were plugged into. In this age most chargers of electronic equipment require a two point plug. The room had sufficient normal three point plugs though, if one had known to bring an adapter. Breakfast was fantastic. Real value for money from this hidden gem.”

“A beautiful property set in a secluded wooded area. Certainly different having guinea fowl in the foliage. The rooms are stunningly large. My friend who was local to it was in total awe of it. It is highly recommended to stay there. ”

“Disappointment and frustration with the treatment I received during my recent stay at Thanda Manzi. Despite my expectations of a comfortable and welcoming experience, I was subjected to unacceptable behavior from the hotel staff at night yesterday at 21h40 when I was sleeping. On 06April 2025, I arrived at the hotel and was initially greeted politely. However, as my stay progressed, I encountered several issues with the staff's attitude and behavior. “Overnight stay before safari - we arrived in the dark after a flight delay and had to leave early so unable to enjoy most of the facilities - but the room was clean, great facilities, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff (the receptionist even walked me to the nearest restaurant). Great breakfast. Situated just inside gated estate with high security. Only comment on room is the toilet is inside a frosted glass shower enclosure in the room.”

“There was a double booking. J'cups said that they have closed their account with hotels.com. However, they still managed to take bookings. Helen found us alternative accommodation for two nights, which I feel was not quite on par with what we received at J'Cups. We spent 1 night with J'Cups and then two nights with another accommodation and then two nights again with J'Cups. I would just make sure not to book via hotels.com again as they have no way of communication channels where these types……

“Great place to relax and use as base when starting trip in Pretoria area. Service was super efficient and attentive without being intrusive. Communication was equally great with both Wilma and Jolene prior to arrival and they were amazingly accommodating when I had issues with reservation at another property for Christmas day and needed to check-in a day early (truly saved the day) ”
