The hotel is a family-run business, and the warmth and hospitality we experience each time make all the difference. Mr. Teshome, the owner, personally picked us up from the airport and drove us back when it was time to leave. Throughout our stay, he went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
Everyone we interact with at the hotel is kind, attentive, and eager……

“This hotel was everything we needed with a welcome level of good quality. The food in the restaurant was excellent, and I had numerous meetings with people here and in the coffee shop. The room was also great, except several items were not working in the room. In spite of that, we got very good value and will definitely come back here again. The staff offer excellent service.”

“My friend and I stumbled upon the Afropolitan while searching for relatively stable wi-fi in order to work. It was the best in the area, the beds were ridiculously comfortable and the food in the restaurant was delicious! The best thing about our stay, however, was the attentive and helpful owner. He gave us his personal phone number to direct taxis to the hotel. He even sent two members of his staff to help us when my friend got suddenly ill and had to go to hospital. I couldnt recommend this……
“Employs were the key to making this anew excellent stay. Especially Zacharias the bellman/luggage porter....he was professional and very helpful. Tesfa, the rep from the restaurant was great as well. Rooms were clean, wellness center amazing but I would give the food a C-.”
“My stay at Wib Guesthouse was highly appreciated by the excellent location, the high level of service by the owner and his assistants, and the informal atmosphere with other guests. The guesthouse has a nice garden in which I could sit, eat my food, drink my coffee, chat with guests, at any time. ”
“Cockroaches and other bugs in the room and the bathroom/toilet. No pest or insect control. It was warm and sometimes hot. No portable fans available as there is no air conditioning in the hotel. Staff is ok but do not speak much English. A lot of maintenance is required as many things are missing from rooms such as hair dryer etc. ”
“Ik ben niet opgehaald van de airport. Hotel vanaf 2 dagen voor vertrek geprobeerd te bellen, men nam telefoon niet op. In de boekingsgegevens staat het mailadres van het hotel niet. Locatie zoals aangegeven op boekingsgegevens, klopte niet, kon dus het hotel niet vinden midden in de nacht. Taxichauffeur kon ook niets vinden, het blijkt een nieuw hotel te zijn. Moest dus naar ander hotel. Kortom, alles mislukt. Heb restitutie aangevraagd bij Hotels.com.”

More like a hostile and price reflects that but the photos are deceiving. Unless you’re traveling by your self for months and need to save every dollar, you won’t like it, difficult to work from with weak WiFi. I’m now paying about 6x to stay somewhere modern and clean.”
