“Loved this place. Amazing quiet location with so many water toys and activities. Had zero need to leave the whole weekend because there was so much to do there. ”

“First, I would I like to say Vacasa is amazing to work with they helped us out tremendously. Also, always get travel insurance. Now, for the part I honestly wish I didn’t have to write a review about. I was sooo excited when I seen this cabin and I snatched it up as quick as I could. The pictures were beautiful that were showed. But to me that did not depict the inside of the house. We got there I had an uneasy feeling. Was told we could come early because the cleaning crew had gotten there……

“Enjoyed a quick weekend getaway on the lake in Newcastle. It was a great place to rest and watch the changing season with beautiful islands and fishing all close to town for oysters, a river cruise, and a nearby brewery. Appreciate that you are dog-friendly as well!”

“This was our second time staying here and it was just as wonderful as the first time, if not more so. Our hosts checked in with us prior to our arrival, and again once we had arrived. Cottage is exactly the right size, kitchen is stocked with essential cookware, and the bathroom has been updated to include a very nice shower. The temperature was in the 40s when we visited and although the cottage does not have heat, the portable heater provided was very nice to have.Beyond the essentials, the……

“I cannot say enough pleasant things about this property. From start to finish it was absolutely perfect. I really wish I booked for two weeks instead of just one. The cottage itself is beautiful. Perfect for a couple or small family. Tastefully decorated and fully stocked with all the basics. Lots of extra sheets, and pillows, tons of towels, fully stocked kitchen and bathroom! “Great location. Quiet relaxed venue with all you would need for a relaxing vacation”

“It is a cute cabin but needs some serious maintenance. The entry slope would be improved by stepping stones along the very appropriate gravel path. It is a steep path and the stones can be slippery and awkward. The inside front door would benefit from a "wipe-your-feet" mat. The microwave, dishwasher and stove are nicely upgraded although we only used the microwave as we were just 2 and mostly ate out. There are 2 good heaters, one up and one down but they do not have fans so they do not heat……

“It was nice to have a place to gather instead of spending the money for a hotel, but it wasn't as comfortable. I understand that you don't want to ruin furniture when you are renting out to people, because you just never know, but there really wasn't any comfortable seating in the den and everything is so low.
