“We had a great escape at the Pecos Riversong Cabin. We had 6 people across 3 generations at the cabin for our getaway over Labor Day Weekend. The location is remote and the proximity to the river is unreal. Countless hours were spent on the porch listening to the river flow by while we drank coffee, played cards, or admired the hummingbirds buzzing up to the feeders. We were close enough to Pecos that we went into town for a restaurant, dollar general, and for church. One day we continued……

“This property is quite rustic but extremely comfortable. There are so many special touches in the house to make guests feel welcome. At night, the property is super quiet. A lovely stay. ”

“Nice cabin. We had problems with internet connection and some lights didn’t work in the upstairs bedroom. Also no soap or shampoo in the downstairs bathroom. No worries really. We’d definitely return. ”

“Go to bed at sunset, get up at sunrise. No noisy alarms, rest in your sleeping bag on top of the mattress, build a fire in the old cast-iron stove if needed, wave at your neighbor, but leave them alone. Great sky views, Perhaps especially at night. Zillions of stars come out. Highly recommended place for a solo retreat, as I took.”
