“Overall an enjoyable stay. Our group enjoyed the large kitchen, lounging by the fireplace, and working puzzles on the dining room table. Plenty of space for our group of 8 adults. Older, charming, traditional adobe with low ceilings (several head bumps for our 6'-2" folks). Some furnishings could use a bit of freshening up. As others have noted some sort of critters are periodically active above the ceilings. Baseboard heating lacks room by room control, so sleeping temperatures in bedrooms vary……

And I was too everywhere we looked it was most beautifully appointed and creative taosena style of an artist I would even love to meet! Had the atmosphere and feel of the Taos home and artists home. “This very nice and comfortable casita is only a few blocks from the historic plaza. We were able to walk to most places around the center of town. The bed was comfortable and had a mattress warmer which was nice since we were here in February. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.”

“This is an old rustic home that speaks to a bygone era. A good location in town and in a nice neighborhood. Not a bad walk to a classic small town shopping area with a variety of shops ranging from mountain gear to local artists. If one is staying for more than a few days you will run out of clean dishes and silverware fairly quickly as the supply is limited. The owner/manager was quick to respond to messages, which was nice. They were very helpful at recommendations for local activities. This……

“It was just what one would want for a short stay. Nicely decorated, well heated, working stove and referigerator, hot water, adequate light and outlets. A lovely little place to stay. the only drawback is that the bedroom was separated from the main area by a blanket. Since my son and I keep different hours this made it a little difficult to get to sleep but ear plugs did the trick.”

“Our cabin boasted scenic views with large windows. Our internet connection was surprisingly strong despite our remote location. Beds were extremely comfortable. We enjoyed close proximity to Walmart, and equal distance from Sipapu ski resort and Taos ski valley. The cabin was perfect for our family. Age range of kids 3 to 15. We would love to stay there again!”

“We were 4 couples and the space was perfect for our needs. It was nice to have the separation of the units so we weren't on top of each other the whole stay, and plenty of room for us all to hang out together on either patio when we wanted to. Cutely decorated. The upstairs kitchen area is way smaller which we weren't expecting but made work. Very small fridge so we were happy to be able to put extra food in the downstairs unit. The location to town can't be beat. During our stay the lower level……
