“This property was just what we had hoped for. The listing and photos describe the place accurately. What it didn't describe well enough was how fantastic the views of the lake were from the primary bedroom at sunrise. Michael was a wonderful host and we couldn't have had a better small family gathering at his place. He was kind, considerate and generous and a really interesting person. We would be happy to go back to the Lake House !”

“This house was just right for four adults. The additional bunk room would be fun for kids as well. Nice attention to detail and ‘if you forgot’ items. Comfortable beds. Very clean! The weather let us have a great view of the stormy lake but the outdoor space would be great for sitting and playing. Host was very attentive and friendly. ”

“Our family traveled to Saint Albans to experience the Vermont Maple Festival. We loved our time at the lake house. The kids enjoyed playing around the lake. The views were great. We were close to some great food and bwverage choices. We are already planning our return trip to Vernont during the otbsr seasons. We will be staying here again!!!”

“This is our second day at the house and once again we had a wonderful visit. House is clean well stocked for cooking, clean beds and bathroom and a classic A-frame style. Direct access off the back deck down to the water was key as we ice fished directly behind the house. I would recommend this property to anybody looking for getaway in northern Vermont.. ”

“Great location on the lake, short drive to many restaurants. The house is very nicely decorated, with a lot of thoughtful touches such as 2 kinds of coffee makers, robes in the bathrooms, and supplies in the kitchen and bathrooms. Owners have great taste, furnishings and artwork were lovely. We had a wonderful stay.”

“Directions in binder where private Sandy Beach is located...( Path by railroad tiles ...just passed the crossing Oil all door hinges ..that way won't wake up others that are still sleeping...since no AC in bedrooms have to leave doors open to be comfortable in the bedrooms. Remote died and no AAA batteries, so went and bought some at DG store New grill ..that one worked but not hot only front part had flames...no way to cook food for 5 people. Door code only work to get in...so couldn't lock……

“The views are absolutely breathtaking. Can’t wait to come back. The island has so many hidden gem food spots. There were so many spider webs and big spiders around inside and outside, it could have used some extra love and cleaning. It gets a little loud when speeding cars go by. “Our stay was amazing. Our hosts were friendly and stopped by a few times to make sure all was OK. The cottage was clean and had everything we could need. The lake was about a hundred feet from the front door. The view was great and having access to the kayaks was wonderful. There are hiking trails about 5 miles away that our pup liked to run through ”
