“Great house. Clean. Had everything we needed.”

“Took my grandson for a weekend trip to Smith Island to celebrate his HS graduation. My daughter, also, accompanied us, since I am a 90 year old "Grammy", and need some assistance. Our cottage was clean, comfortable and had all of our needs. The host, Kim, was extremely attentive, and made our dinner the night we arrived so we could just relax. “The stay was just perfect. We came with our own boat and it was easy to navigate to the house. The dock was 30 yards from the front door so easy to get out supplies to the house. (We did make use of the golf cart 😊). Neighbors are so friendly and they let us use their phone to call our family to let them know we arrived. Our cell phones did not work as it is a bit remote. We later found out that there is some coverage on the second floor of the house😁 Nevertheless we did not miss internet and……

“Two families with kids stayed here for a long weekend - wonderful house with everything we needed, plus a beautiful pond and fire pit outside. Easy drive to Crisfield to catch the ferry to Smith Island, plus kayaking in Janes Island State Park. Great getaway spot in a quiet part of the eastern shore. Host was super-responsive!”

“Host was communicative and available for any questions. This place was what we needed, two people and a dog that is relatively barky. The seclusion is what we were looking for and we got it. The yard was so large for him to sniff and have a good time without any neighbors in sight.The screened in porch is where we would eat our meals or enjoy coffee and the view, great sunsets and some birding. The living room was spacious for us, with comfortable chairs. WiFi was great because we didn’t have……

“We had a lovely time on this trip. The house is spacious and the yard/location is great. The kitchen needed a few more things that we could have used but overall we would definitely return. There are no stores nearby so buy everything you need before arriving. You will not regret coming to this house. We made a lot of memories and enjoyed every minute. The host was very attentive and helpful.”

“We srayed at this property due to number of guests and proximity to the college. It was a great mix of old and new. This house was wonderfully appointed and everyone enjoyed their stay. The views were spectacular and we had everything we needed and more. It was unexpectedly remote, but once we got used to it, it was barely noticeable. We are even considering staying here again ”

“What a wonderful stay we had! The house was so comfortable with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy each other's company. We enjoyed the brisk mornings on the porch and the gorgeous sunsets in the evenings. Very comfortable beds and linens. The scenery and landscape in the area are breathtaking. Every turn provided another incredible view of the water. Fishing Creek is close to so many beautiful, quaint towns along the Chesapeake Bay. Highly recommend!”
