“We went to Chandragiri Hills for two nights in Oct 2024 in the hopes of seeing clear views of the Himalayas, and Mount Everest. We were not disappointed. The best time to see the mountains is early morning. With luck, it will be clear enough to see Annapurna and Mount Everest. We were lucky enough to see both. The property was nice, comfortable, and the restaurant had great food. ”

“The hotel is situated at a quiet alley. There is a security guard outside the alley so we felt safe even at night. Staff is friendly and helpful. But we have to complain about the airport pick up service. We reserved the airport pick up service at night. “The staff are friendly and helpful. however, there was a really big cockroach in my room and i killed it myself, wait quite a time for the staff from hotel to pick up the body. i paid expensive price and just stay for few hours, and still i experience this, i sent messgage to them to tell my disappointment but they never reply, which was really upset.. i do have a photo of the big cockroach but i do not want to show it here to scare people.”

“The room was old and looked different from the impression given by the photos. However, it was well cleaned. The gas stove in the kitchen had very weak flames, and the microwave was broken. Some rooms had a musty smell or even smelled like a toilet. The location was good, with everything necessary for daily life within walking distance, making it suitable for a long-term stay. The staff were very kind. However, I found the price to be disproportionately high. I paid around 11,000~12,000 rupees……
