“We enjoyed our 5 night stay at Maria’s penthouse. Maria is a very helpful, responsive and accommodating host. She gave us great suggestions for places to visit, including stargazing from Omalou Plateau. She also did not charge us extra when my daughter and son-in-law stayed with us for 1 night in the 2nd bedroom.”

“This property is very nice great views. I don’t think it was worth the asking price though. Lastly, the property manager will go in the room randomly without permission . Was charged extra fees due to “excessive food”, and all I had was peanuts no dinner items. I got a random text asking me not to drink so much while out in the shopping area on my wife on our honeymoon. I thought this was a bit odd. ”

“We stayed in the lower level unit with direct access to the front yard. There was no other renter in the upper unit at the time which made it even more enjoyable as my kids loved hanging out and playing in the front yard until late in the evening. Many shops and restaurants literally steps from the house and the beach is just across the street. The house was comfortable, the AC worked well and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped though could have used a bit more utensils and……

“Rarely so we stay at hotels on our adventures. We find it so important to learn and appreciate the location and most importantly, the beautiful people.This location (and the hosts) did not disappoint. Although it is small, it has everything you need to have an enjoyable stay in Chania. We enjoyed coffee every morning from the roof top deck with a majestic view of the Mediterranean Sea and melodic clapping of the waves. “Quite unique and interesting villa in a quaint little village worth the drive but the grounds around the villa are not looked after at all, the pond with goldfish in it was green and not working, the other pond was even worse. Very limited kitchen facilities, clothes washer and dishwasher smelled moldy, beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. The Dog next door barked a lot all hours of the day and night. “We’re had visited Crete and we stayed at the village homes Alkistis, is 20 minutes from the Airport and very well known, soon we had arrived at our destination with a large group of people! We supposed to be checking in by 4pm but we were 2 hours early , the lady who is the owner Called Vaia has kingly let us to went to our rented house immediately! Very organised and cleaned , couple of Grocery shops and the beach is 15 minutes walking distance ! Dilma Uk ”
