“This home was a perfect spot for my husband and I to relax. The natural sea pools were a highlight! We walked to the Venetian Port and strolled along for a food tour. Chania is a magical city and our hosts helped make it extra special!”

“Place was clean, beautifully greek and practical. Only minor things to fix like a loose knob of the fauset in the middleroom sink and somewhat poorly funktioning aircondition in the romm farthest from the entrance. Fully equipped kitchen, including a laundry machine gave us an oportunity to feel and behave like home and at the same time enjoy all the fine restaurants in the nearest neighbourhood.”

“Everything it was billed to be. If you are looking to be at the heart of old town, this is it. Wonderful experience.”

“Die Ankunft hat sich als etwas kompliziert ergeben, weil wir offenbar die Fotos, die zum Öffnen des Schlüsselsafes dienen sollten, nicht erhalten haben. Dank Alexandras sehr gastfreundlicher Mutter, ist es jedoch gelungen. Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön, alles super gepflegt und liebevoll ausgestattet mit allem was man benötigt. Genauso wie auf den Fotos versprochen. Durch eine Gastrezension waren wir auf den Fluglärm der Militärjets vorbereitet und uns hat es nicht gestört, im Gegenteil sogar……

“Everything you need is within walking distance, the apartment was emaculate and new, Eleanna so kind and helpful along with the great hospitality the locals are also very friendly and welcoming to tourist.”

“We enjoyed our 5 night stay at Maria’s penthouse. Maria is a very helpful, responsive and accommodating host. She gave us great suggestions for places to visit, including stargazing from Omalou Plateau. She also did not charge us extra when my daughter and son-in-law stayed with us for 1 night in the 2nd bedroom.”

“We stayed in the lower level unit with direct access to the front yard. There was no other renter in the upper unit at the time which made it even more enjoyable as my kids loved hanging out and playing in the front yard until late in the evening. Many shops and restaurants literally steps from the house and the beach is just across the street. The house was comfortable, the AC worked well and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped though could have used a bit more utensils and……

“The property was great for visiting with a car. Was able to access Chania easily for a family that did not want to stay in town. The house was modern and very clean. We did have a few challenges. The hot water worked for 1 day and then not at all the rest of the time. We had been traveling for a week and needed to do laundry and had little warm water to do wash. We were planning on cooking over Christmas due to closed restaurants, unfortunately the stovetop did not work at all. The oven……

“Hosts were generous, attentive and responsive. House was very comfortable - we were there in January so everything was very quiet. The beach is lovely with intriguing tide pools and a very short walk from the house. We also travelled to several interesting sites throughout Crete using Villa Nefeli as a convenient home base. ”

“Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt im Haus von Maria, es war sehr schön dort. Das Haus ist nicht nur sehr schön, sondern auch sehr geschmackvoll und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es befindet sich in einer exzellenten Lage in der Altstadt. Es gibt keinen Durchgangsverkehr und es ist sehr ruhig, nur ein paar Schritte zum Hafen. Dank der sehr guten Empfehlungen und Vorschläge von Maria haben wir auch sehr gute Restaurants, Bars und Cafés in der Nähe zu Fuß gefunden.Zum Haus gehört ein privater Parkplatz, so……

“This property is very nice great views. I don’t think it was worth the asking price though. Lastly, the property manager will go in the room randomly without permission . Was charged extra fees due to “excessive food”, and all I had was peanuts no dinner items. I got a random text asking me not to drink so much while out in the shopping area on my wife on our honeymoon. I thought this was a bit odd. ”

“Very helpful and friendly staff, and had own private beach as well as own parking lot, having a car was very helpful to get around as it was at least an hour away from tourist beaches which are a must see! The hotel strip had over a hundred restaurants to choose from. ”

"I love this hotel and enjoyed my stay here so much! The location is perfect, just within 3 mins walking distance to the old Venetian harbour and nearby attractions. The room was modern designed and decorated. I especially loved the bathroom as the shower area was the spacious one I’ve ever seen. I must mention the FREE breakfast here, the restaurant offers a wide varieties of choices at the buffet bar, additionally, I could order other options from their a la carte menu. The food were all delectable!! I’m impressed by their staff member - Mira, i was truly impressed by her passion for work. All of the staff members here are amiable, polite and helpful. With this top-notch accommodation and service, it really value for money."
